Mary Tow : history of education in the Illawarra

Description

Mary Tow was the Librarian for the Wollongong Teachers College, later named the Wollongong Institute of Education, from 1968 until 1982. After the Institute amalgamated with the University of Wollongong in 1983 Tow became the Education Faculty Librarian, until her retirement in 1995. The collection comprises material collected over many years relating to the history of education and individual schools in the Illawarra, some of which was used in displays.
