The demonstration was organised by Knock and Kirby's, Wollongong, who will distribute the Flymo lawnmower. It literally floats on a cushion of air, with the operator merely steering it in front of him. -- About 10 o’clock last night, the South Coast and Southern Tablelands were rocked by a short earth tremor. The disturbance emanated near Canberra and sent a series of shock waves reaching as far as the metropolitan area. -- Wollongong’s first drop in centre opened for business today. The centre, to be known as the Crossways, is situated in the old medical benefits building in Keira Street. -- Nowra this Saturday night will see the 4th annual ballroom dancing championships.
