This year the Goulburn Art Club, in conjunction with the Goulburn City Council, has prepared a festive display for the Town Hall. -- Although school finished last week, thousands of school children have returned to school this week, but it's a school with a difference. The schools are the free Learn to Swim classes, arranged by the Department of Education. -- A well-known landmark in the Robertson area will begin its 4th career in its 35 year history in about 6 months time. The landmark is the former Franciscan monastery, but its history extends beyond that. The three storey building, with its 83 bedrooms and 83 acres of land, was built before the last war as a holiday hotel. -- A runaway railway track at Port Kembla today caused more damage being restored to the rails than it did during its unaccompanied journey. The truck, carrying 50 tons of concentrate, had been standing in a storage depot near Australian Fertilizers at Port Kembla.
