The ship is the Northern Naiad, which was brought alongside the Port Kembla Coal Loader at 3 this clock this afternoon. The police were on hand because of a reported brawl on board the ship while at sea. In the brawl, it was understood a member of the crew, the ship's radio officer, was wounded. -- At Bellambi rifle range today South Coast police turned Sharp Shooters for a day, as they went through full-scale pistol practice. -- Most South Coast beaches reported good crowds today when holidaying school children flocked to the beach for the last day of patrolled beach swimming this season. -- More than 100 students from Wollongong University College today attended a lunchtime meeting to hear talks by the three local youths who are refusing to register for National Service.
