This is Balgownie Public School, built 78 years ago, and apart from the addition of two classrooms a few years ago it's exactly the same as the day it was built. President of the P&C Association Mister Doug Brennan said that three years ago the Department of Education told the association that funds had been allocated for an additional two classrooms. Then the association was notified that the erection of the two rooms had been deferred for more urgent projects.
