The Port Kembla Ironworker was the branch newspaper of the Federated Ironworkers Association of Australia, Port Kembla Branch from 1984 to 1986[?]

The Branch objectives for the publication were to ''accurately and creatively report the memberships events and struggles''. Also to ''assist workers to develop their confidence and ability to determine their attitudes towards the industrial, political and social issues that we face today"
