The old school still stands, although a new block has been built to meet the extra accommodation needs. -- A party of Cronulla bowlers, returning from Shellharbour, had a harrowing experience last night, when the bus in which they had been travelling burst into flames. The 45 passengers on the bus all escaped serious injury, but firemen faced an impossible task to save the bus. -- The Wollongong aerial Patrol will soon launch a drive for funds. An art union will be conducted to raise much needed finances before the start of the surfing season. -- A committee, just formed in Wollongong, is looking for people to train as marriage guidance officers on a voluntary basis. -- A special field day near Nowra on Saturday proved an excellent training ground for valuers of the future. The day was arranged for members and students of the Valuers division of the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales. The Chosen property was Numbaa Park, near Nowra. -- The Parents and Citizens Association of Bowral High School believes the school is getting a raw deal from the Department of Education.
