The new superintendent of the Goulburn training centre is Mr Turnbull, who has come from the Berrima training centre.|Bulli Hospital is the proud owner of the first automatic x-ray processor to be installed in a New South Wales Hospital. And the fact that the hospital has the processor is due mainly to the help of the ladies auxiliary, who raised more than $3,000 towards the machine . Meanwhile, a group of street lighting experts discussed the street lighting installations around the city of Wollongong.|A Batehaven woman saw the result of over 20 years work reach fruition on Sunday when she laid the foundation stone for a new hurch. The new Church at Batehaven will be St Paul's Church of England.|Water skiing in the Shoalhaven area has grown rapidly — and the local ski club made a big splash with their annual presentation night. 25 trophies, ranging from the senior to the junior Point score winner, were handed out during the night — even one trophy which was awarded for the best prang of the Year.|The 11th annual Rural Youth Conference in New South Wales was officially opened at Albion Park this morning. In Wollongong to make the official opening, was the minister for Education, Mr Cutler. He arrived at the Centenary Hall shortly before 11am to perform the ceremony. More than 400 Rural Youth Club members from all parts of the state gathered at the hall today for the start of the three-day conference.
