Since the aerial patrol's rescue boat made its grand debut in Wollongong in January, 1964 it has been surrounded by controversy. It has been labelled a white elephant and waste of time, and even the aerial patrol president, Alderman Ernie Ford admitted today that the boat had proved too expensive for the patrol to run. -- Four Bulli nurses graduated last night into their career before a record crowd of 200 people. -- Wollongong bus travellers can expect the ultimate in comfort with the commissioning of a new vehicle, which arrived today. The chasis for the unconventional bus arrived at Hills Bus company from the manufacturers in Melbourne. -- Wollongong's 1966 Showgirl Priscilla Fletcher, believes that beauty contests are a a matter of luck. Priscilla,who's a nurse at Port Kembla Hospital, will compete with Showgirl winners from other Shows on the South Coast and Tablelands tomorrow at Castle Hill. -- Twenty-seven brides of twelve months put on their wedding gowns again last night for a parade at Legacy House, Wollongong.
